"Lake, I want you to go away for now. Why don't you just find us some food or something?" Lake nodded and turned, seeing a lake up ahead. She could fish! Lake went over to the pond, and a fish jumped out of the water. She racked her claws in to the fish, and, with the fish still on her paw, took her paw back. Then, she bit the fish's neck. She saw another fish, jumping out of the water. Lake lunged herself towards the fish, but indent, she went flying in to the water. Suddenly, Lake had the memory of that night with Gray come back to her. It was a cool night, when she had found a gray patch of fur. She sniffed it; it smelled like Star, and some other cat. Then she saw a gray kitty in the moonlight. The cat keep on coming over to her, and coming, and coming. When the cat was just up beside Lake, she knew that the cat was going to steal her lost love, Star. Lake jumped on the gray cat. "What are you doing Lake?!" The cat shouted. "How do you know my name, why are you here, and why did you try to take my Star?" Lake yelled. She knew that the gray cat had been wanting Star. "I hate you!" Lake yelled. She dug her claws in to Grays belly. "But, I'm just Star's sister!" Lake twitched her ears. "Don't lie." She spat. Then she rolled over, digging her claws in to Grays fur. Then, Lake heard a cat in her memory. It was Star. "Gray! Lake!" He meowed, pleased at first, till he found out what Lake was doing. "This is over, Lake!" He had shouted, and then tossed her in to the little pond nearby. "You tried to kill my little sister!" Star yelled. Lake hissed. "She's not your sister, stop pretending! You know, I bet you guys just made this all up, so that you wouldn't have to break my heart, when you were going to say that you loved another cat. Well, too bad, It's already broken!"
Lake jumped with a start. She was back, in the forest, to find a home. Lake was still shaking from the memory. She picked up the fish, shacked off the water, and started back too Star and Gray. When she had gotten there, she had made up a plan to get Star to love her again. It was perfect. "Where have you been?" Star growled as she walked in. Lake guessed he was still upset about Gray. "I fell asleep." Lake meowed back. "And dog's purr," Muttered Gray from the back. Lake knew Gray was thinking that she had been coming up with a plan to hurt her. And she was wrong.
