Dancing meadows (Chapter three)

"It's so cold!" Complained Dance, setting her paw on a lake that had turned to ice. "How are we going to get the fish now?" Said Gray, peering at the ice. "We wait. We'll find something else to eat. And before you know it, it will be spring again." Star mewed cheerfully. "Whatever. Let's just get going. I think these kits are going to be coming pretty soon. I want shelter." Gray growled. Fox narrowed his eyes. "You mean kittens. Not kits." He meowed. "They're the same thing. Kit is short for kitten. Don't you get it?" Gray meowed angrily. "I was just joking, I knew what you meant." There was hurt in Fox's voice. "I..I'm sorry, I didn't mean too-" Started Gray but then was interrupted by Fox. "It's ok. I just wanted to cheer you up, so I guess I was being annoying. I'm sorry." Gray went over and licked Fox's fur. "Let's just get out of this-" Gray started but broke off at what she saw. "It..It's ruined." She whispered. She was standing in front of her old home; but now it was a big mess. The whole town was a mess, even the people. The buildings had been knocked down, leaving big piles of wood.
Gray walked in the heavy snow, glancing at the broken town. I just want to get out of here. Thought Gray. Then, a small mew made Gray jump. She looked around wildly, and then saw a orange white and black cat with a orange lily in her ear, and some weird type of cloth on her paw that was blue. A piece of wood had fallen on her, and she was crying for help. The four cats rushed over to help her. Gray and Fox worked together, gripping the piece of wood in their jaws, while Star and Dance did the same on the other side. The wood slipped off of the cat, and she was free. "Thank you so much! I'm Calysta. Pleased to met you guys." "I'm Star, this is my little sister Gray, her mate Fox, and the kitten's name is Dance." Star meowed carefully. "I'm not a kitten!" Protested Dance in her most adult voice. Star rolled his eyes but said nothing. Calysta drew in her breath. "You guys live here too?" She asked. Gray nodded, Star said no, Fox said no too, and Dance screamed yes. Calysta stared at them. "We uh, we used to live here, but the humans wreaked the home, so we left. We started down that way," Said Star, flicking his tail towards the way they had came, "and then we found no good home so we're going to go the other way." Finished Star. Calysta nodded as if she understood every word Star spoke. "Well, can I come with you guys?" Calysta asked in a tone that said she was not going to be ok if she did not come. Star was surprised she would ask that, but he would like her company, and he couldn't just let her stay here and die, so he said, "Sure, why not?" "But, wait, I have to get something." She ran back towards the town. "Calysta, wait!" Shouted Star, as he watched her disappear in to the field of dropping towers.

Ummmumummumumu.Don't have a title yet.

A splash of water hit Calsta's ginger and white fur. She hissed at it, hitting it with her paw. "It won't help," I mewed, for I knew about water. "Stop acting all wise and old!" Calsta spat at me. Now, I hadn't been tiring to make her upset, but I couldn't help it. I knew that it wouldn't do anything, and she looked stupid getting mad at water. Plus, she is my sister, and some other cats were watching. "I'm not acting old and wise. I'm just tiring to tell you that the water doesn't speak cat." I mewed, with Calsta not looking one bit amused, but my best friend, Moss, was the only one that laughed. "You're so funny, Cinder." She mewed. I hate being called Cinder, my real name. "Shut up!" I yelled, every cat staring at me. I would have left, but nowhere to go. I might not have gotten to the part where there is a big cage around the beach, and us. Soon the water would be in the cage, and the cats would drown, unless they got out, somehow.

Dancing meadows (Chapter two)

This book is called Dancing meadows (Second book of Rain Dance)

Once the two cats had gone back to the den to sleep, the snow had started up again. "Think it will stick this time?" Asked Dance. "Most likely, yes." Meowed Gray, who was sitting beside her. All the rest of the cats were asleep. "Cool. I've never seen snow before. Just my sister." Gray purred. Then, she stopped. "That's it! Dance! Did you tell Snow that I was in love with a orange tabby tom?" She blurted out. "Huh? Yes. I did. Why?" Gray jumped with happiness. "Then you saved are lives, not Lake!" She mewed. "What?! No, Lake did! You're not supposed to know about any of this! You're not supposed to know!!" Yelled Dance, waking up the other cats. "What's going on?" Meowed Star sleepily. Gray was standing next to a young, about 20 week old cat, who was hissing fiercely. Fox tried to make out who it was, but he was still sleepily, and dark, so he couldn't. A few seconds later, Fox could just make out who it was. Dance. "What is going on? Gray, Dance, come here. I want to talk to you two." Star said. "NO!" Yelled Dance, then took off running in out in to the snow. Everyone stared at Gray. Creamy blinked, as if she couldn't believe what had just happened. Then, surprisingly, she jumped out and on to Gray. "What did you do to her!?" Creamy screamed.
"Stop! Get off her!" Cried Fox, getting up out of his bed of moss. "Fine! I'm getting off." Creamy meowed, getting off of Gray. "Look, it's about the perfect time to leave. If we wait till morning, then all the snow will have stuck." Said Star, licking his paw. "But then it might have melt too," Gray argued. "I don't think so. It will keep on snowing." Star replied, as if what he had said was true. "Well, ok, mister I-know-the-whether-that-hasn't-even-came-yet." Spat Gray, scowling. Before Star had a chance to smooth things out, Gray flicked her tail and stomped out of the cave.

Star let out a long sigh. "So it's not just me," Muttered Fox, stepping on a stick. "We had better get a move on, catch up with her. Good-bye, Creamy, Snow, Chocolate, and Shadow. We'll take good care of your kitten, Creamy. Thank you so much for letting us stay here." Creamy nodded, and Fox and her said bye, and then the cats were off.

Hey everyone!

I don't know what I will call the second book for Rain Dance, but I can't wait to post it. So here is the first chapter.

Gray leaned on Fox's mussel. Her pads were sore, she was tired, and hungry. "Star, I think Gray needs a rest. Can we stop here?" Fox asked, detecting that Gray did need a rest. She loved that about him. "Huh? Oh, sure. You guys rest, and me and Dance will go and get some fish." Star meowed, turning to go to a river nearby. When they had gone, Fox asked, "When are we going to tell them?" Gray sighed. "I don't know. Tell them when they get back if you want. I still think we should wait a little longer." Fox rolled his eyes. Then, Dance and Star returned, each carrying two fish in their jaws. Star gave one to Fox, and Dance gave one to Gray. When the cats had settled down to eat, Fox blurted out, "We have some news! Gray's having kittens!" Fox normally chose the wrong time to say things. "I'm happy to hear that." Purred Star. "Yay!" Said Dance. Gray nibbled at her fish. "When are we going to get to Creamy's home?" She asked, eager to change the subject. "Soon. I can't believe that we have been traveling for weeks. I think at first we took the wrong way." Said Star. Fox looked as if he wanted to say something more about the kittens, but he glanced at Gray and she shook her head no.

Star felt the cold snow of winter coming down on to his fur. He shook it off with a cold shake. "It's so c-cold." Said Dance, shivering. "It's ok, we'll be there soon. And we are lucky it's not sticking to the ground." Meowed Star. Gray looked around. There was Creamy! Gray ran over to the cream colored she-cat. "Creamy! Hi!" Gray meowed happily. Fox and Dance came running too, and Star was right behind them. "Mother!" Shouted Dance. The two of them licked each other. "Come on guys, let's go and get in to my shelter that Snow made. It's nice and warm in there." Star nodded and the cats dashed off, Fox, Dance, and Gray at his heals. When the cats had gotten to the shelter, Fox saw a cat that Gray hadn't met before. "Chocolate! Is that really you?" Fox meowed to him. A brown tabby tom came out. "Hey Fox. Nice to see you. I heard you were in love with a tabby gray cat, is that right?" Gray gulped. What was going on? "Um, I guess.." Meowed Fox awkwardly. "Hey, uh, Fox, sorry to pull you away, but can we talk alone?" Gray asked. Fox nodded, and Gray pulled him out of the cave. "What is going on?! Are love was secret. How did Snow know, and how did that..Chocolate?...how did he know?" Gray hissed. "I don't know, but it's very weird." Fox mewed. "Well, duh!" Hissed Gray, spinning around and stomping away. "I don't know what gotten in to her lately," Fox muttered to himself.

Star licked once more at Gray's fur. "There. You look good. You know, you really didn't have to get all dolled up to go and talk to Fox." Purred Star. "Yes I did. It's like a..I don't know what it's called..You know when we lived with humans, and that lady Kate liked that guy Jon, and then before going out with Jon, she would get all pretty? Well, one time I went with her secretly, and then they talked about stuff, and then kissed. Yuck. At least cats kissing is just licking each others noses." Meowed Gray.

Fox had been waiting for Gray to come. He had gotten a fish for both of them, some moss full of fresh water, and he had found some catnip for a present for Gray. Gray came running, and she looked really...good. "Hi. I got us some dinner. Fish. And moss water." Fox said, as Gray sat down. "Thanks, I think. Fox, we need to talk about something." Fox nodded. "Ok well, when the kittens are born, we can't go on traveling. I think we should stay here till they are, and then wait till they grow up a little more." Gray said. "But Gray! It's bad here! That's why I wanted you to bring Dance! Creamy might not want to leave, but I think Shadow does. He just doesn't want to leave Creamy. Don't you understand?" Gray took a deep breath. "Your right. I think we should keep moving. It IS bad here. Almost as bad back at my human place." She meowed.

So, yes, it's a little long.
Hope your all happy about what happened in the other book.

Rain dance (Chapter ten)

The next day was still rainy. It wasn't at all like the other night, but Gray felt grumpy when the rain drops hit her fur. When Fox and Gray were almost back to the forest where they had rested last night, Gray and Fox climbed a tree. But they didn't see cats moving around. "They must have left without us!" Fox meowed, panic in his voice. "But Star would never do that." Gray argued. "Lake would. And what if she.." Fox said, then Gray and Fox looked at each other, realizing what had happened. "STAR!" They shouted at the same time. They ran down the tree, and then ran to the cave place where they had been last night. "See? Not here. " Fox mewed. "Then Lake must have forced Star to leave. Before we left, I mean your old home, then I heard Snow say that I was in love with a orange tabby cat. Lake must have thought I was in love with Star, so she's gone nuts and want to get back at Star." Gray meowed quickly. "Wait. How did Snow KNOW your were in love with a orange tabby cat?" Fox asked. "It doesn't matter right now, we have to find Star and Lake and stop them!" Hissed Gray. "We can fallow them by their scents." Mewed Fox. "No, it just rained last night, stupid. All the scents must have gotten washed away." "Then how are we going to-" Started Fox, but then heard a hiss nearby from Star.

"Lake, what are you doing?! Stop it! I'm not in love with Gray! I'm not!" Star shouted, as Lake pulled him to a pond, then let go of him, tossing him in. "STAY THERE!" She screamed. Then she turned and got some very, unusual strong vines. She ran back and tied a vine to Star's paw. "What are you doing? Lake! Stop! STOP!" Star screeched, and tried again to get away. Lake then tied another, longer vine to Star, and tied it to a tree. Star was trapped.
"Come on Fox, run faster!" "I'm trying!" When the two cat found Star and Lake, Gray pounced on Lake. Lake scratched Gray, and Gray bit at Lake's ear. "Stop!" Yelled Fox. "Where's Dance?" He asked. "You guys are fools! YOUR ALL FOOLS!!!" Lake hissed, then, before any cat could stop her, she ran away. The rain was getting harder, and now Gray's fur was socked. She ran over to Star and started getting the knots undone. Finlay, Star was free. "Ok, um, we have to get away, as fast as we can. Forget about Lake." Star said. "And we have to find Dance." Added Fox. Gray, Star, and Fox, ran as fast as they could, still looking for Dance. Lighting crackled down, setting a tree on fire. Gray pressed her pelt assent Fox's. "There's Dance!" Star shouted, running over to the wet kitten. The storm was hitting Star already socked fur, and the fire was getting bigger. If they didn't get going, then it would be too big. Suddenly, a cats jumped from the bushes. It was Lake. Star stopped. "What? Why? How? Where?" Star stared at Lake. "STOP IT. Star." As Lake spoke, Gray shivered. "It's ok, Gray." Fox meowed. Then he jumped on to Lake. With a powerful blow, she knocked him away. "FOX! NO!" Gray screamed, running towards Fox. "Gray, get out of the way!" Star yelled at her. He ran over to them. Dance did too. "Look out that tree is goanna fall!" Star yelled. There was no time to move, and Lake, seeing what was happing, jumped in their way, pushing the other three cat out of the way. The tree fell, on to Lake with a thump. "LAKE!" Star tired to go over to Lake, but the fire got in his way. "Lake!"

"I'm sorry about Lake." Gray said, stepping in to the cave. "It's ok. I'm fine." Gray nodded. She gave her fur a lick, it was still wet from last night. "So, uh, you like Fox?" Star asked. Gray purred. "Yes, I like Fox. He wants to visit Creamy. Can we?" Star purred too. "Yep. You know, I think we should just go back to the other side, you know, where we used to live, and then go the other way." Gray nodded. "I'll go and get Dance and Fox. We can get going." Gray purred. Fox, Star, Gray, and Dance, walked down the hill in the shinning sun, hoping to find a peaceful home.
THE END.

That is the first book. The next book comes soon.

Rain dance (Chapter nine)

When the four cats, Gray, Lake, Star, and the little kitten, Dance, was ready to go, Fox was asking to come to. "I just, I just have to stay with Gray. Protect her. And Dance. Please!" Lake hissed. "No way, bozo. We have to many cats as it is." She said. "Yes, you can come, Fox." Said Star, dipping his head.
The five cats were getting real tired, but mostly Dance. "Can we stop now?" She asked every five seconds. "Ok! Dance! Will someone please climb a tree and see how far it is to a resting spot?" Star asked. "I will!" Shouted Gray, running up to a tree, and climbing up it. When she got to the top, she could see really far. A nice little forest, with a cave and a small lake near by it, looked like a perfect spot to be. Lake could fish in the lake, the cave would be the best place to hide from rain, (Gray looked at the sky. It was dark and cloudy.) And those leaves and that moss would be nice bedding. Gray climbed down, then led the way towards the spot.

"I'm going to go," Said Fox that night. "What?! I thought that you were going to stay with us forever!" Shouted Gray. "Creamy needs me. And Snow. It was nice meeting you all, and Dance, take care of yourself ok? Thank you so much, Star. And Lake, even if you're the meanest cat I ever met, it was nice travelling with you. And Gray.." Fox's eyes were getting wider with saddens. He padded over to her. "I..I have never known a cat like you. You'll always be in my heart. Goodbye, Gray." Then he turned, and left back towards his home. When nobody was lessening, Gray whispered, "I love you, Fox. "
Suddenly, Gray jerked awake. She could not sleep. What if Fox ran in to the road? "That's it!" Gray yowled, not caring that she just woke up Lake and her brother. "FOX! WAIT!" She yelled, running as fast as she could, out of the cave, and the way that Fox had gone. "Fox! Wait up!" Then, she spotted him at the other side of the road. "FOX!" She dashed across the road, and then she was right beside the orange tabby tom. "Fox, I love you. I love you." Fox was both happy, scared, and shocked. "Why are you here?" He asked, his whole body shaking. "I love you! I don't care, were I have to go to be with you, but I will." Fox purred. "Then let's get back to Star and Lake." Rain came falling down, splattering the ground, hitting the cats fur. "No, we can get back there later, when it isn't raining." Purred Gray. The two cats found a little shelter.

Rain dance (Chapter eight)

"You know, I think your right." Said a voice behind her. Gray jumped, and span around, to see Fox, Creamy's brother, standing right beside her.
"You should take Dance with you. I mean it." Meowed Fox. Gray had nothing to say, but she was standing there with a blank face, so she just did something fast, and that might have been a huge mistake, for what she did was say, "Ok, I will.".
Then Fox picked up something from behind him. A fish! Gray almost yowled with delight.

"Here, you can have it." He said, dropping it at Gray's paws. "Thanks!" Then, Lake stepped in to the cave that Fox and Gray had been in. "Is that fish I smell?" She asked, then ran over to Gray and the fish. She took the fish out of Gray's mouth. "Yum!" Fox snarled. "I fished that FOR GRAY! Not you. Give it back. Star told me that your mean too Gray all the time. He told me everything." Lake dropped the fish. Gray's fur grew hot with embarrassment. Lake got up and left, without saying a word.

"Star, can we talk?" Asked Lake. "Nope." Said Star, but he got up anyway. The two of them got to a grassy area, alone. "Star, you know I was just joking around, with Gray. I knew all along that Gray is your sister." Meowed Lake. "Huh." Said Star. "I don't believe that, and never in one million years will. Sorry, Lake, but no. I hate you." Lake burst in to tears. "Why? We loved each other! We were going to have kittens! It was just a misunderstanding. I'm sorry, Ok? I'm sorry!" Yelled Lake. Star twitched his whiskers. "No, Lake. Just find another mate ok? I'm sorry about are love, but I can't. I just can't. Besides.." Star's voice trailed off. Lake stopped crying. "OK, then. If you don't want me here, with you and Gray. I'm going. Goodbye..For..Ever." Lake tired to yell, but it sounded just like the truth: She wanted to stay with Gray and Star, and this was breaking her heart that was already broken in the first place. "No, Lake. We'll do this tougher. Why can't we JUST be friends? " Lake stopped. "I..OK. But, if you promise that you will be nice to me, and not get mad?" "If you promise that you won't try to kill Gray."

Rain dance (Chapter seven )

When the three cats were all welcomed in to the small forest home, Gray had a mouse under her paws, but she hadn't eaten one bite. "So, this is Creamy, my mother, and Dance's mother. And I'm Snow, this is Shadow, our father. And that orange cat over there is Fox. He's Creamy's brother." Said the white cat. Star nodded. "I'm sorry about us breaking in to your home. I'm Star, this is Gray, my younger sister-" Star glared at Lake. "and this is Lake, my former mate." He finished. "Well, you can stay tonight if you want, and you can tell us why your here." Said Creamy. "Ok, well, we lived with humans a few days ago, but they were wrecking our home." Started Gray, before Star could start. "And our home got wrecked down. It was a store, and the shop keepers were real nice to us. They fed us, pet us, and at night, they would put us in a nice cozy bed, turn off the lights, and lock the door behind them." Said Star. Gray knew that these wild cats didn't want to know about how they were taking care of them. "Anyway, we had no choice." Said Lake. "That furball over there doesn't understand that." She said, pointing with her tail towards Gray. "I'm not a-" Started Gray, but then Creamy said, "Gray. Huh. A furball, she is. Well, well, if that true, then, Dance, get over here." A black and orange kitten about ten weeks old came over. "What Creamy?" Asked the kitten. "This young cat want to play with you." Said Creamy, flicking her tail towards Gray. "I don't want to play. I'm a cat now. I fight, and hunt." Said Dance, then trotted away. Gray was stunned. All these cats did was fight and hunt? "We'll live like this one day," Meowed Lake. "What? No, we won't. I want to live with humans." Said Gray. Lake hissed. "No! Don't you think that we can?" Lake meowed, trying to keep her voice steady. "No, we can't! This mouse is gross! I can't believe that these cats EAT this! And that poor kitten! I wish we could take her away, so she wouldn't have to live here, eating this..Food!" Gray spat. Creamy, Star, Snow, Fox, and even Lake started at her, with they mouths open. Gray ran away, as fast as she could.

Rain dance (Chapter six)

They came to a dark forest, and there was so many trees. Gray looked ahead, and saw a cat figure. It was staring right at her. Then, before she could say, "Mouse!", it came running towards her. And before she knew it, a cream she-cat with green eyes was touching noses with her. "Why are you here?" She demanded. Star drew back "Were just passing by." He meowed. The cats eyes flickered. "What do you mean? That white cat over there is hunting." The cat pointed with her tail to Lake. "Lake! What are you doing?!" Star yelled at her. Lake shrugged. "I'm hungry." The cream she-cat jumped on Lake, rolling her over and taking the killed mouse. Gray saw the mouse and started to get real sad; she hated to see mice killed. Star leaped in to the fight with Lake and cream cat, tiring to pull them away. After a few minutes of hissing, a black and orange kitten came out of the bushes, along with a black tom and a white she-cat. "Stop! Creamy, what are you doing?!" Yowled the black cat. "They were taking our food, Shadow, I think I can fight them." Creamy hissed back. "Mom, no! Let them stay! We were once chased here by dogs, and we were hungry too." Said the white cat, Gray saw that she was a lot younger then she looked.

Emma's true tale (Chapter one)

This tale is true.

Emma looked at the new house. It was ugly, for it had a pink roof top, a bright blue door, and the rest of it was brown. "Mom......Do I HAVE to go in there?" She was even less wanting to go in to the house. But her mother did not answer, just led them towards the ugly door. Then her mother opened it, and while she did, Emma exchanged a look with her sister, Abby. As soon as Emma walked in, her eyes died from looking at the ugly floor, the ugly sofa, the ugly stairs, the ugly table, and the ugly TV. Her eyes and brain hurt, but her heart fell apart. Why did Abby have to chose such a bad place to move to? every time the Wings had to move, they would take turns choosing the house. It had been Abby's turn. "Well Abby?" Asked her mother. "I....Love it. It's nice." No, it's not. Thought Emma, but did not say anything. "Emma? Do you like it?" Her mother's voice said: Don't be rude to Abby. It IS a nice house. "Well.....No." Emma had to admit. "You'll like it when you see your room." Her sisters look was full of happiness. Then Abby led Emma to her room. Before they opened the bedroom door, Abby said to close her eyes. Emma took a deep sigh, ready for her eyes to die yet again. She heard a door open, then Abby saying to open her eyes. It was the best room she had ever seen. It had light green curtains, and a dark green bed sheet. The rest of the bed was neon green, her favorite color. And then it had a yellow desk, and beside it was a green trash can. It had a blue river like carpet, and the best part was that it had a little tent that was like a tree trunk. The walls were a tree brown, and the pillows on her bed were the only thing in her room that were black. but not grayish black, pure death looking black. and Emma liked it. Her most favorite thing was nature, and more than ever, she wanted to save the world.

When Emma had token the last bite of her sandwich, slurped down the rest of her milk, and jumped out the back door, it had been the fifth time that day her mother said that she would make new friends. Emma hoped she was right, but so far, all she had made was a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. Looking down the street, she saw a little girl with dark brown hair, and blue eyes, and a green shirt. Emma had blond hair, and envied the other girl. She walked down the street, and when she was in front of the girl she found it hard to say anything. And for the first time she had moved to the house, she felt shy. The other girl looked as if she wanted to do anything other than say hello. "Hi" Emma heard herself say. "My name is Emma." The girl blinked. "Oh. Sorry. I was just thinking about something. My name is Wendy. Hi." Emma saw now that the girls shirt said "Save the world" on it and it had a big world smiling. Then Wendy glanced around, and whispered in Emma's ear, "They are watching us." Emma didn't have the clearest idea of what Wendy meant. "What are you talking about? Who's watching us?" The little girl rolled her eyes. "You're as stupid as them." Who's them?! But before Emma could say anything else, Wendy slammed the door to a house, and Emma guessed it was hers. Emma slowly went back home. She was wondering about Wendy all night long.

When Emma woke, she had had the best dream ever. And she knew what Wendy wad talking about. She ran over to her closet, and picked out a green shirt, and some green jeans, and picked out a pair of shoes that were blue. She ran down stairs, but remembered that it was gross wall paper down in the dining room. "Never mind about food," Emma muttered under her breath. She jumped out the door, and ran across the road, not looking both ways. There was no time. She took a deep sigh, and knocked on Wendy's door. When Wendy opened the door, she said, "Oh, you. What do you want?" Emma gulped. "I know what you were talking about the other day. Camera people." Wendy looked at Emma for a second, then pulled her in to her house. "This is my house. Come with me." They went to a door, and went inside. Inside, it was just like Emma's room, but it had a bunk-bed, sleeping bags on the floor with little stuffed cats in them, and on the walls butterfly's. Not real ones. Wendy went to her desk, and she pulled out a paper. She handed it to Emma. "There. It's for my club. No one else is in it. I had to be sure which one was the one." Emma read the paper. It was green, and the words were black, and in ink. Name:
Age:
All you know about the Camera people:

Was what Emma read.

Rain dance (Chapter five)

Gray licked her paw miserably. Her back was still sore from when the car had hit it. Star was asleep at her left side, while Lake was at her other side, closing her eyes, pretending to be asleep, but Gray knew she was wide awake. Was she planning a attack? Gray nudged Star awake, letting him know that they should get going.

Star got up to face the night. The moon was bright, and shinning on to Lake's white fur as if she was special. Gray was heading over to the lake; Star guessed to get a drink. As the three cats gathered to go, Star saw Lake looking at her paws. He hadn't talked to her since Gray got injured, and Lake seemed to be very sad and guilty; Star could feel it off of her pelt. Lake was not normally like this. It was why he had fallen in love with her in the first place. Star shock his head. "Star, are you coming, or are you going to just stay there forever?" Lake hissed at him. "Err, uh-huh. I'm coming." Star meowed, every hair on his pelt prickling with anger. Like Lake hadn't once been holding up him and Gray.

They came back to the road. "Ok, guys. This road is just a normal road, going across. We just have to run when all the cars stop. But the road over there-" Star meowed, pointing his tail to the other side- "Is a harder one. We have to go ON it. There's no other way, so we HAVE to be fast. Understand?" Lake and Gray nodded. "Ok then. When I say, Lake, then Lake, you run. When I say, Gray, Gray, you run. Got it?" Lake and Gray nodded again. "Lake, run!" Star shouted. Then when Lake had gone, Gray went, then Star. When all the cats went safely across, it was time for the harder road.

"Ok, this time we all go at the same time. Ready? GO!!" Star yelled, and the three cats dashed off. It was a road going up. Then, a car was about to hit Star. Star was frozen. He was to scared to move. Then, just before it DID hit him, Lake took him by his neck, and ran faster than any cat had ever ran before, back to where they had started. When Lake dropped Star, he got up and stared at Lake. "Why?.." Lake started. "Where's Gray?" Star asked, ignoring the fact that Lake had just saved his life. I hate her, and she just saved my life. Thought Star. I don't care. She will not listen when I tell her that Gray's my sister. Star told himself.

Rain dance (Chapter four)

"Lake, I want you to go away for now. Why don't you just find us some food or something?" Lake nodded and turned, seeing a lake up ahead. She could fish! Lake went over to the pond, and a fish jumped out of the water. She racked her claws in to the fish, and, with the fish still on her paw, took her paw back. Then, she bit the fish's neck. She saw another fish, jumping out of the water. Lake lunged herself towards the fish, but indent, she went flying in to the water. Suddenly, Lake had the memory of that night with Gray come back to her. It was a cool night, when she had found a gray patch of fur. She sniffed it; it smelled like Star, and some other cat. Then she saw a gray kitty in the moonlight. The cat keep on coming over to her, and coming, and coming. When the cat was just up beside Lake, she knew that the cat was going to steal her lost love, Star. Lake jumped on the gray cat. "What are you doing Lake?!" The cat shouted. "How do you know my name, why are you here, and why did you try to take my Star?" Lake yelled. She knew that the gray cat had been wanting Star. "I hate you!" Lake yelled. She dug her claws in to Grays belly. "But, I'm just Star's sister!" Lake twitched her ears. "Don't lie." She spat. Then she rolled over, digging her claws in to Grays fur. Then, Lake heard a cat in her memory. It was Star. "Gray! Lake!" He meowed, pleased at first, till he found out what Lake was doing. "This is over, Lake!" He had shouted, and then tossed her in to the little pond nearby. "You tried to kill my little sister!" Star yelled. Lake hissed. "She's not your sister, stop pretending! You know, I bet you guys just made this all up, so that you wouldn't have to break my heart, when you were going to say that you loved another cat. Well, too bad, It's already broken!"

Lake jumped with a start. She was back, in the forest, to find a home. Lake was still shaking from the memory. She picked up the fish, shacked off the water, and started back too Star and Gray. When she had gotten there, she had made up a plan to get Star to love her again. It was perfect. "Where have you been?" Star growled as she walked in. Lake guessed he was still upset about Gray. "I fell asleep." Lake meowed back. "And dog's purr," Muttered Gray from the back. Lake knew Gray was thinking that she had been coming up with a plan to hurt her. And she was wrong.

Pacth and Yellow (A short story)

A tree was all Patch could use to get away from the dog's snapping jaws. Her black and white fur had already been torn badly. The women had picked her up by the tail, and it still hurt. She ran up the tree as fast as she could. The dog barked for what seemed like forever, then a little boy came and took it away. Patch climbed down the tree, and started to look for water. When she found some, it tasted of dirt and it was warm, but she drank it anyway. She needed food and shelter now. A house was her old home, but now she had been treated the way she had been, and she would never again dare go back to there. Now only if she could get this collar off.... Patch kicked with her hind leg on the red collar. It was still on, so she tried to bite it off. Then, she saw a nice home, at least for now. It was a small cave, and it looked cozy and warm.

Now, Patch was waking up to find a orange tom cat looking up at her. He had blue eyes, and Patch could feel herself falling on to his gaze. Then she stopped herself. She was in his home, most likely. "Am I in your home? I'm sorry!" Patch mewed, panic starting to rise up in her. "Nah, it's not really mine. I just need a nice place to rest." Said the tom, licking her paw, and rubbing it on his ear. "I'm Patch, pleased to meet you." Said Patch. The orange tabby cat smiled at her. "I'm Yellow. Nice to meet you too." Patch gulped. "Do you live with humans?" She asked. Yellow hissed. "Never! I hate them!" Patch nodded. "I do too. ?But then, what do you eat?" Yellow licked his tail, and replied, "Easy. Come on, I'll show you." He got up and started out of the cave.

When both cats were there, Patch saw a tall women feeding the cats that gathered around. Patch knew what the food was; it looked a lot like chicken, and it smelled wonderful. Without thinking, Patch ran over to the women and mewed like a kitten. The women looked down, and saw a black and white cat with a red collar on starring up at her. "Are you lost? Oh my..Let's see that collar." Said the human. Patch knew what was going to happen, so she ran back to Yellow as fast as she could.

When Patch had eaten and she and Yellow agreed to go to find a new home together, Patch knew she was in love with Yellow.
They walked and ran, walked and ran, till one day, they came across a pack of dog's. Then, Yellow was in a circle of dog's, just waiting to bite his ears off. Patch had to save him! She looked around wildly, till she just jumped on one of the dog's. "No, Patch! Just go! Now! RAN!" Yellow cried. "No! I'm not giving in!" Patch yelled back. The dog shock her off, then turned and racked his claws on Patch's fur. After having lots of new pains, Patch knew she had to do something else. She spotted a log: Not to heavy looking, and perfect to climb. She picked up the log in her jaws, and then a small stone, and set the log on the stone. Then she ran to the other side and jumped on it, making the side that was up go down. She then ran back to the other side and pushed on the log, making it go in to the dog's area. Yellow saw the log and ran up it. Then, Patch and Yellow ran and ran for what seemed like forever.

When they came to a stop, Yellow was panting, his eyes still wide with fear. "I'm so sorry! You could have gotten yourself killed back there." He gasped. "But I didn't, did I?" Patch meowed, licking her paw. "I have something to say," She said shutting her eyes. Yellow just blinked. "I...I love you. I want to have kittens together, and I want to be together. Please, Yellow, understand." Yellow looked at her for what seemed like forever, then said, "I love you to Patch." Is what he whispered.

Later:
Patch had three kittens, one black, one white, and one orange. The black one's name was Smokey, a girl. The white one was Snow, also a girl, and the orange one is a boy named Tiger. They found a nice little place to live, where a little girl feeds them, and a lake is nearby so they can get a drink. And they all lived happily ever after.
THE END.

Rain dance (Chapter three)

When the three cats were ready to go, Star lead the way, till they were out of the old home. They came to a big road. Gray was still upset about going; she saw the road and gulped up fear. "Are we going across that thingy?" She asked, her voice shaking. "Sorry. Yes, Gray. But you can just stay here! Bye!" Mewed Lake, and padded towards the road. "No! Wait for me!" Gray meowed back, racing for the road. "Nah, your much too little," Taunted Lake. "If you can run across, which you can't, then fine. But I DARE you to go across." Gray hissed and broke off in to running across the road. A big car was coming, along with a pack of like five more. "Gray, no!" Shouted Star, running to Gray. Just in time, he gaped Gray at the neck, dragging her back. When Star dropped Gray, who had been hit just a little by the car, Star glared at Lake. "you almost got her killed!" He shouted, turning around to lick at Gray's fur. "I told you to make up for what you had done, not to worse." Then he let out a gusty sigh and said, "Sometimes, I really don't like you at all." (Once Lake and Star had been mates, till they got spared apart by the humans. When they got back with each other, Star learned that Lake had tried to kill his little sister, Gray. He would never love her again, and Lake was madly still in love with Star, so she had begged to come.)

Rain dance (Chapter two)

Star turned to face Lake. "Lake, calm down. We can work this out. Just give Gray a second to realize that we have to go. Why don't you go and get ready to go?" Lake hissed, turning away, and left. Gray's fur was fluffed up, yellow eyes were wide with stockiness. "It's okay, Gray. Lake was just being rude. It's nothing to worry about. Now go get ready to go." Stars voice was clam, and gentle. "But I have friends here!" Star sighed. "What friends?" Gray felt as if her world was turning upside down. "I..I don't have any. I just made that up." Star looked at Gray with a hint of saddens. "I know how you feel." Gray turned around and left, her tail and head drooping. When Gray had gone, Lake came back. "You were mean to Gray, Lake. She would have been happy to go, if you had not yelled at her. I think you should try and make up for what you did."

Rain dance (Chapter one)

"Is Gray ever going to come?" Lake was asking. "I don't think so, and if she does not come soon, then we will go without her." Star said. Then, a gray tabby cat with yellow eyes jumped out from the bush's. "I'm here!" She hissed. Star got up, and dipped his head to the she-cat. "Greetings, Gray. It's good to see you." Lake meowed in agreement. "It's good to see you too, Star, Lake." Gray replied. Lake padded up to Star. "I don't know about her.." She whispered in his ear. Gray sat down too lick herself. "Come on, Gray is my sister. Besides, if we go without her, then we will not know which way to go." Then, more loudly, he said, "Okay, Gray, lead the way." Gray had been licking her chest. She paused to say," I don't even know what you want me for." Star's orange fur glowed in the moon light. He sighed, and said, "We are going to go in to the wild. And we are going to live there." Gray's ears went flat on her head. "Why?!" She hissed. "We can't live here anymore. The people are going to ruin life here. The wild will be the best place for us." "What will we eat? Where will we go? There are no forests near, and no way am I going to walk all that way just for-" "SHUT UP GRAY." Lakes fur was fluffed up, as she hissed the words. "We are going to go, and you can stay here with no shelter for the rest of your life, if you would like to. I'm sorry, but we don't have a choice."
