When the four cats, Gray, Lake, Star, and the little kitten, Dance, was ready to go, Fox was asking to come to. "I just, I just have to stay with Gray. Protect her. And Dance. Please!" Lake hissed. "No way, bozo. We have to many cats as it is." She said. "Yes, you can come, Fox." Said Star, dipping his head.
The five cats were getting real tired, but mostly Dance. "Can we stop now?" She asked every five seconds. "Ok! Dance! Will someone please climb a tree and see how far it is to a resting spot?" Star asked. "I will!" Shouted Gray, running up to a tree, and climbing up it. When she got to the top, she could see really far. A nice little forest, with a cave and a small lake near by it, looked like a perfect spot to be. Lake could fish in the lake, the cave would be the best place to hide from rain, (Gray looked at the sky. It was dark and cloudy.) And those leaves and that moss would be nice bedding. Gray climbed down, then led the way towards the spot.
"I'm going to go," Said Fox that night. "What?! I thought that you were going to stay with us forever!" Shouted Gray. "Creamy needs me. And Snow. It was nice meeting you all, and Dance, take care of yourself ok? Thank you so much, Star. And Lake, even if you're the meanest cat I ever met, it was nice travelling with you. And Gray.." Fox's eyes were getting wider with saddens. He padded over to her. "I..I have never known a cat like you. You'll always be in my heart. Goodbye, Gray." Then he turned, and left back towards his home. When nobody was lessening, Gray whispered, "I love you, Fox. "
Suddenly, Gray jerked awake. She could not sleep. What if Fox ran in to the road? "That's it!" Gray yowled, not caring that she just woke up Lake and her brother. "FOX! WAIT!" She yelled, running as fast as she could, out of the cave, and the way that Fox had gone. "Fox! Wait up!" Then, she spotted him at the other side of the road. "FOX!" She dashed across the road, and then she was right beside the orange tabby tom. "Fox, I love you. I love you." Fox was both happy, scared, and shocked. "Why are you here?" He asked, his whole body shaking. "I love you! I don't care, were I have to go to be with you, but I will." Fox purred. "Then let's get back to Star and Lake." Rain came falling down, splattering the ground, hitting the cats fur. "No, we can get back there later, when it isn't raining." Purred Gray. The two cats found a little shelter.
