Emma's true tale (Chapter one)

This tale is true.

Emma looked at the new house. It was ugly, for it had a pink roof top, a bright blue door, and the rest of it was brown. "Mom......Do I HAVE to go in there?" She was even less wanting to go in to the house. But her mother did not answer, just led them towards the ugly door. Then her mother opened it, and while she did, Emma exchanged a look with her sister, Abby. As soon as Emma walked in, her eyes died from looking at the ugly floor, the ugly sofa, the ugly stairs, the ugly table, and the ugly TV. Her eyes and brain hurt, but her heart fell apart. Why did Abby have to chose such a bad place to move to? every time the Wings had to move, they would take turns choosing the house. It had been Abby's turn. "Well Abby?" Asked her mother. "I....Love it. It's nice." No, it's not. Thought Emma, but did not say anything. "Emma? Do you like it?" Her mother's voice said: Don't be rude to Abby. It IS a nice house. "Well.....No." Emma had to admit. "You'll like it when you see your room." Her sisters look was full of happiness. Then Abby led Emma to her room. Before they opened the bedroom door, Abby said to close her eyes. Emma took a deep sigh, ready for her eyes to die yet again. She heard a door open, then Abby saying to open her eyes. It was the best room she had ever seen. It had light green curtains, and a dark green bed sheet. The rest of the bed was neon green, her favorite color. And then it had a yellow desk, and beside it was a green trash can. It had a blue river like carpet, and the best part was that it had a little tent that was like a tree trunk. The walls were a tree brown, and the pillows on her bed were the only thing in her room that were black. but not grayish black, pure death looking black. and Emma liked it. Her most favorite thing was nature, and more than ever, she wanted to save the world.

When Emma had token the last bite of her sandwich, slurped down the rest of her milk, and jumped out the back door, it had been the fifth time that day her mother said that she would make new friends. Emma hoped she was right, but so far, all she had made was a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. Looking down the street, she saw a little girl with dark brown hair, and blue eyes, and a green shirt. Emma had blond hair, and envied the other girl. She walked down the street, and when she was in front of the girl she found it hard to say anything. And for the first time she had moved to the house, she felt shy. The other girl looked as if she wanted to do anything other than say hello. "Hi" Emma heard herself say. "My name is Emma." The girl blinked. "Oh. Sorry. I was just thinking about something. My name is Wendy. Hi." Emma saw now that the girls shirt said "Save the world" on it and it had a big world smiling. Then Wendy glanced around, and whispered in Emma's ear, "They are watching us." Emma didn't have the clearest idea of what Wendy meant. "What are you talking about? Who's watching us?" The little girl rolled her eyes. "You're as stupid as them." Who's them?! But before Emma could say anything else, Wendy slammed the door to a house, and Emma guessed it was hers. Emma slowly went back home. She was wondering about Wendy all night long.

When Emma woke, she had had the best dream ever. And she knew what Wendy wad talking about. She ran over to her closet, and picked out a green shirt, and some green jeans, and picked out a pair of shoes that were blue. She ran down stairs, but remembered that it was gross wall paper down in the dining room. "Never mind about food," Emma muttered under her breath. She jumped out the door, and ran across the road, not looking both ways. There was no time. She took a deep sigh, and knocked on Wendy's door. When Wendy opened the door, she said, "Oh, you. What do you want?" Emma gulped. "I know what you were talking about the other day. Camera people." Wendy looked at Emma for a second, then pulled her in to her house. "This is my house. Come with me." They went to a door, and went inside. Inside, it was just like Emma's room, but it had a bunk-bed, sleeping bags on the floor with little stuffed cats in them, and on the walls butterfly's. Not real ones. Wendy went to her desk, and she pulled out a paper. She handed it to Emma. "There. It's for my club. No one else is in it. I had to be sure which one was the one." Emma read the paper. It was green, and the words were black, and in ink. Name:
Age:
All you know about the Camera people:

Was what Emma read.
