When the three cats were all welcomed in to the small forest home, Gray had a mouse under her paws, but she hadn't eaten one bite. "So, this is Creamy, my mother, and Dance's mother. And I'm Snow, this is Shadow, our father. And that orange cat over there is Fox. He's Creamy's brother." Said the white cat. Star nodded. "I'm sorry about us breaking in to your home. I'm Star, this is Gray, my younger sister-" Star glared at Lake. "and this is Lake, my former mate." He finished. "Well, you can stay tonight if you want, and you can tell us why your here." Said Creamy. "Ok, well, we lived with humans a few days ago, but they were wrecking our home." Started Gray, before Star could start. "And our home got wrecked down. It was a store, and the shop keepers were real nice to us. They fed us, pet us, and at night, they would put us in a nice cozy bed, turn off the lights, and lock the door behind them." Said Star. Gray knew that these wild cats didn't want to know about how they were taking care of them. "Anyway, we had no choice." Said Lake. "That furball over there doesn't understand that." She said, pointing with her tail towards Gray. "I'm not a-" Started Gray, but then Creamy said, "Gray. Huh. A furball, she is. Well, well, if that true, then, Dance, get over here." A black and orange kitten about ten weeks old came over. "What Creamy?" Asked the kitten. "This young cat want to play with you." Said Creamy, flicking her tail towards Gray. "I don't want to play. I'm a cat now. I fight, and hunt." Said Dance, then trotted away. Gray was stunned. All these cats did was fight and hunt? "We'll live like this one day," Meowed Lake. "What? No, we won't. I want to live with humans." Said Gray. Lake hissed. "No! Don't you think that we can?" Lake meowed, trying to keep her voice steady. "No, we can't! This mouse is gross! I can't believe that these cats EAT this! And that poor kitten! I wish we could take her away, so she wouldn't have to live here, eating this..Food!" Gray spat. Creamy, Star, Snow, Fox, and even Lake started at her, with they mouths open. Gray ran away, as fast as she could.
