When the three cats were ready to go, Star lead the way, till they were out of the old home. They came to a big road. Gray was still upset about going; she saw the road and gulped up fear. "Are we going across that thingy?" She asked, her voice shaking. "Sorry. Yes, Gray. But you can just stay here! Bye!" Mewed Lake, and padded towards the road. "No! Wait for me!" Gray meowed back, racing for the road. "Nah, your much too little," Taunted Lake. "If you can run across, which you can't, then fine. But I DARE you to go across." Gray hissed and broke off in to running across the road. A big car was coming, along with a pack of like five more. "Gray, no!" Shouted Star, running to Gray. Just in time, he gaped Gray at the neck, dragging her back. When Star dropped Gray, who had been hit just a little by the car, Star glared at Lake. "you almost got her killed!" He shouted, turning around to lick at Gray's fur. "I told you to make up for what you had done, not to worse." Then he let out a gusty sigh and said, "Sometimes, I really don't like you at all." (Once Lake and Star had been mates, till they got spared apart by the humans. When they got back with each other, Star learned that Lake had tried to kill his little sister, Gray. He would never love her again, and Lake was madly still in love with Star, so she had begged to come.)

Aww. I feel sorry for Lake, but not too much, because she's also a jerk.
